Zero Clearance
So, you’ve got a zero clearance fireplace sometimes called a “firebox”. Awesome, your home was probably built in the 60s or later or maybe renovated later. We have some amazing options for you! Zero Clearance and Masonry doors are basically the same (Zero Clearance doors need air intake areas that Masonry does not) - the only thing that changes is how it attaches to your fireplace.
Z Heritage
The Z Heritage is Thermo-Rite’s flagship door for the Zero Clearance fireplace. The frame is made out of laser cut steel with air intake venting. It is available as an overlap fit and can be installed on marble, tile or any non-combustible material up to 5/8" thick.

Z HeritageZ Door
The Z-Door is a sleek, tarnish free, aluminum enclosure. Engineered for a tight inside fit with a minuscule 7/8” frame. We use Air Studs™ or an Air Draft Bar™ to elevate the frame so that it maintains the air intakes located inside the firebox. A modern minimalist take on luxury.

Z DoorSpecial Z
The Special Z offers a classic minimal look at an affordable price. The unit is designed from aluminum and features bi-fold full swing trackless doors. Available only as an inside fit, the unit incorporates a 7/8″ wide frame. Air flows in from a 1/4” opening around the door frame so it can used on a Zero Clearance fireplace.

Special ZZ Laser
The Z-Laser is an aluminum enclosure with a 1.75” wide frame. The frame protrudes a mere .375” from the face of your fireplace and overlaps its opening .75”. A sleek addition to any room, it sits a mere .875” into the fireplace opening. The door return track is hidden behind the outer frame for a clean, one piece look.
